When I founded Noetic Creative some 7 years ago I had just finished reading Dan Brown’s, “The Lost Symbol.”  In “The Lost Symbol” one of the main characters is a scientist at the Institute for Noetic Sciences.  They talk about the study of Noetic Science and how it’s about how everything in the world is physically connected.  Though this physical connection people are able to control other objects, think of it like The Force, from Star Wars.  Now this is a pretty cool concept and the fact that there is actually a true study of things like this I found very fascinating and to me I couldn’t think of a better name for a creative company.  

Creative content has the ability to control people emotions, make them want to buy a product, inform them social and economic issues, and change peoples opinions on things in life.  I can’t think of anything more fitting for the term Noetic.  As a company who does much of our story telling through video we feel we have some magical abilities that can’t be taken lightly.

Obviously creative content is not what the Institute for Noetic Sciences is trying to study and find out about.  My interpretation of this may be different than someone else’s, but lets be honest I like the name and feel it’s very fitting.  If you would like to learn more check out their website at Noetic.com .
